This red dress by Universal Thread™ is my new favorite dress for Spring and Summer!

Hey friends!  Did you think I disappeared on you forever?!  It’s been a couple of weeks since I posted anything new, but that is because life is crazy, and I have SO MUCH to share with you!  I have a big announcement and I will share more at the bottom of this post, but for now, let’s talk about this fabulous red dress that is my absolute favorite find so far for Spring and Summer!

If you know me at all, you know that red is my favorite color of all time.  So when I happened across this dress at Target this spring, it was a no brainer.  I knew it was mine the minute I laid eyes on it! I absolutely love the classic and timeless style of this midi dress.

Relaxed yet put together, this midi-length wrap dress features cuffed short sleeves and a textured cotton-blend fabric that brings new depth to the look.To me, it has a linen look to the fabric.  I love the length too, and it is perfect to wear to work, to brunch, or just breezing around town, and I feel like you can dress it up or down with shoes or accessories.  This is how I wore it to work one day.

What do you think of this red dress?  I think it is a classic cut that will look good on a variety of body shapes and sizes, and I really love it!  How do you feel about wearing red?  Some might think it is too bold, but I love red and it makes a huge statement!

So at the top of this post, I alluded to the fact that I have a big announcement, and some of you may already know what it is if you follow me on Instagram of Facebook.  I am going to work on an actual full length blog post to share this exciting announcement, but just to give you a little teaser – we are relocating halfway across the country in July!!!
