Hey all! Before we get started going gaga for plaid today, I wanted to point you to my Fall Fashion Guide for the Over 40 Woman, just in case you haven’t read it yet. There is some great Fall fashion inspiration that I think you might like. But today, I’m here to talk about plaid. If you don’t know that plaid is super hot right now, I am here to tell you that it is! I am absolutely in love with all forms of plaid in both fashion and décor. I wear it all of the time, and I thought I would go back into my archives and do a round up for you guys of 45 ways that you can wear plaid. Trust me, these 45 outfits are not the only times I have incorporated plaid into my wardrobe, but they are just some of my favorites. I am going to try to keep my commentary to a minimum throughout this post, and just let you look at the pictures, because you know, there are 45 of them! So let’s get this plaid party started!
I will be including links to similar items to what I am wearing throughout this post, however, to keep things simple, I will only link to something once, in the first picture in which it appears. For example, the brown boots I am wearing in the first picture below will have a link right under that picture to wear you can find a similar pair. Plaid Scarves
I have so many scarves you all! And way more plaid ones than are actually pictured here. But I would have to say my red one and my faux Burberry one are my favorites. I also have a gray, white, and black blanket scarf that I purchased recently and have not worn yet.

Plaid Button Downs
I have several plaid shirts, and not all of them are pictured here today, but I would definitely say that you cannot go wrong by owning a black and white plaid shirt. I have two different ones, and you will see that I have worn them in more ways than I can even count. They are staples in my wardrobe for sure! I also feel that you can’t go wrong owning a red and black plaid shirt.

I have two pairs, a black and white pair, and a darker colored pair.
I scoured my past style posts looking for everything plaid, so these pictures were taken over the course of the past couple of years. Some were taken with different iPhones, some with my old camera and some with my new camera. and you can very obviously tell that my photography skills have evolved, and over the past couple of years of doing these style posts, I have really been making an effort to take more professional looking style pictures, so it is fun for me to see that growth. Forgive some of the not great pictures, boy have I come a long way!
