Wow! I can’t believe it is June already! 2014 is halfway over. During the dead of winter, it seemed that spring was never going to come, and now it is June. The older I become, the faster time flies. I was so busy that I did not get around to writing a review of April, so today I thought I would do a little combo, and review both April and May! Here is what has been happening around Sweet Parrish Place for the past couple of months.
I partnered up with Zillow to bring you some DIY tips for painting home exteriors.
I updated Miss 18 Year Old’s sink using the Giani Granite kit, and loved the result.
We celebrated my daughter’s 18th birthday! I can’t believe she is all grown up.
I found a couple of new uses for wrapping paper as décor.

That is a glimpse into Sweet Parrish Place for the past couple of months. Now that Our Swedish Daughter has gone back to Sweden, things are going to be picking up around here. I am going to start some new projects, and be on a more regular blogging schedule. I have slacked off a little with projects in order to host her for the past ten months, so now it is back to work. But my reason for slowing down was a great one, and well worth it. I would not have traded my family’s experience for the world. Now that my time is freed up a lot, I hope you will stick around and watch what happens!
