WE took a drive around Bridgeport a couple of weekends ago, and took pictures of some of the beautiful Christmas lights. I wanted to get more, but my camera battery died! I was disappointed. I vowed to get out again, but just never found the time. But here are some of the highlights of our drive around town. I have no idea who lives in most of these homes. Maybe you are looking at this blog and will see your home! If so, let me know!
I have to say, I don’t think I have seen anything more spectacular than this. This is the home of Brian Larson and David Harbert in Sherwood Forest. Isn’t it amazing? There are no words. If you live locally and have not seen them, try to catch it before they take them down! This first shot, I stole from their facebook page. It is the shot while sitting in their hot tub. Now that is the shot I want to get!

But this is the shot I got, from the street. Gorgeous!
This is the front of their house. So perfect!
This is the home of my friends, Kim and Doug. They moved into this house a little over a year ago. I just think it is such a quaint cozy looking home.
This home is a few houses down from us. I love this house, I want to go inside so badly!
My son went crazy for this house! Look at Thomas!
I just love this snowman in the front yard. He is chillaxing!
This is the Benedum Center in downtown Bridgeport.
And this is our house at Christmas. Some of these were taken before we put up our tree in the front window, and part of them were taken after the tree.
I was less than happy with the way the outside looked out this year. It was our first Christmas in our new house, and we just used mostly what we had. Next year I am going to purchase some new things for the front stoop.
Merry Christmas everyone! We are so excited for Santa to come tonight! We have a lot to do in the next two days. Church tonight, then to my mom’s house, then home to bed to await Santa. Then tomorrow to Jason’s grandma’s house. After that Delaney and Coleton will leave us and go spend Christmas with their father’s family. That is always a little sad for me, but I know it is special for them.
