Today I am sharing my 2019 Spring dining room and kitchen, and this will wrap up my Spring home tours for this year, just in time for Easter!
Hey friends! Happy Good Friday! I can’t believe it is Easter weekend already, and our spring break is wrapping up. We took a vacation to Disney World, and just came home on Wednesday evening. We had such a good time! You can see a lot of things I shared from our trip in my Instagram Story Highlights under Disney World. I thought I had better wrap up my spring home tours series today before Easter eggs and Easter bunnies all have to come down. So, welcome to my 2019 Spring dining room and kitchen tour!
I’m going to try not to blabber on throughout this tour, because I have quite a few photos to share today. So I hope you will sit back and relax, and just enjoy the tour. Let’s start with my dining room. We recently gave this space a little refresh for the $100 Room Challenge, and we are so happy with the way it turned out. You can read all about this buffet that I painted too.

We made over our dining table during our dining room refresh, and it was a labor of love. I was ready to kick this table to the curb, but it has a whole new life now! I am so happy with how it turned out.

I found these placemats at Walmart. They are by Pioneer Woman, and I thought they were perfect for this space for Spring. They will probably stick around all summer too.
Our dining room also serves as our home office. When we moved into this home, there was simply no place else to carve out an office space. We now have the extra space since our oldest daughter moved out, but it will require some work, and we haven’t gotten to it just yet. We want to make our guest room into a home office at some point.
2019 Spring Kitchen
We made over our kitchen back in the fall of 2018 for the One Room Challenge, and although it was by no means a gut job, the updates we did made it so much better, and we feel like it was a great update. We painted the cabinets white, added new hardware, new lighting, painted the door and walls, and we added a rustic wood top on our kitchen island.
I love how light and bright this space is now, and both our dining room and our kitchen are much more pleasant spaces to be now. We plan to sell this house in the next few years, and we feel like these updates will help us to sell.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and taking a tour of my 2019 spring dining room and kitchen. We are getting ready to color some Easter eggs this evening, so that should be fun! I wish you a happy and blessed Easter weekend my friends!
