Hey friends! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. We went out to dinner to celebrate Mr. 15 Year Old’s 16th birthday, so as of Tuesday, he will be Mr. 16 Year Old, and he couldn’t be more excited to get his driver’s license and have more independence! Today I am going to share some of the outfits I have worn recently during this end of winter, beginning of Spring weather. I want to get the last of my winter outfits up on the blog so that I can start focusing more on Spring fashion, and I will be having a fabulous Spring fashion post coming to you before the end of the month, so stay tuned for that!
This first outfit is obviously my favorite of all of them that I am sharing today, that is why it’s the first one you see. I am loving the white on white trend. I wore this to work one day last week. And unfortunately, there was a little mishap and I ended up running in the mud that day, so I got a big clump of mud on my pants, but don’t worry, I got it out. And these new White Mountain booties that I purchased recently on clearance at Marshall’s were unbelievably comfortable. I love the height of the wedge heel and the fur lining. I didn’t even feel like I was wearing heels. You can bet your bottom dollar I will be on the lookout for this brand from now on!
I love this striped cardigan, and you can see it styled differently here. I particularly liked it with these mustard corduroys because the color went well with the elbow patches.
You may have seen this cape before here. I bought this at Goodwill for $2, and it is one of my best find ever! I just think it’s perfection. I can tell it’s handmade too, which makes it even better. I think it makes quite the statement, so I try to keep everything else simple when I wear it. This time I wore it over a grey sleeveless dress and white blouse. I like the little pop of polka dots in the tights. These black low booties are another find from Marshalls that were on clearance, and another very comfortable pair of shoes.
This day was one of those days when I didn’t feel like anything but comfort, so this is what I can up with. Here is an example of using leopard shoes as a neutral. You can click here to see other examples of how you can wear leopard booties.
I love this grey maxi skirt. I have owned it for years, and it is a favorite. It is made out of sweatshirt material, so what’s not to love about it? So comfy! This turquoise necklace was a Christmas gift from my husband. It is from Chloe and Isabel. It’s special because it comes apart to make a bracelet and also a shorter necklace.
I bought this Cynthia Rowley tweed sweater at a thrift store for $4,and that is quite a steal! It has zippers on each side that can be zipped or unzipped. I bought these tuxedo pants at Gap a couple of years ago, and wore them to Delaney’s graduation.
Both this sweater and this skirt were found at thrift stores. The sweater has little fringe beading around the bottom. I love pattern of the black and white skirt, and paid around $4 for it. The sweater is a little fancy, so I tamed it down with a denim jacket.

I like this combination of pink and navy. And here is yet another example of how you can wear leopard as a neutral.
And that’s a wrap for my late winter fashion today! I can’t guarantee there will be no more winter outfits this year, because Spring around here is a very sporadic time of year. I do have some items already out in my closet that can be worn year around, but I still have things up in the attic that need brought down and I need to transition my closet for Spring/Summer. I am hoping to start on that next weekend. Thanks for stopping by today, I am always so glad that you are here! Have a great week!
