EShakti Review- Check Out My New Dress!

Have I told you that Miss 18 Year Old is getting ready to graduate from high school next month?  Well, she is!  I have so many mixed emotions about this, and having a senior brings so many things for me to stress about!  We have several functions that we will be attending for her upcoming graduation, and I have been on the market for a few new dresses.  I love this eShakti dress paired with the little black cardigan and lady like black pumps.

So, as you might imagine, I was thrilled when I opened my email one day to find a message from eShakti.com, offering to send me a dress if I would review it on my blog.  I had not heard of eShakti before, have you?  So I clicked on the link to the website, and I loved what I saw!  So many cute dresses!  And many of them have a retro vibe, which I totally dig.

Turns out eShakti sells custom clothes, made to your size and style.  And everything they sell is available in all sizes, from 0-36W.  They have so many gorgeous dresses to choose from, and I could not help but say YES!  In fact, I was thrilled that they somehow came across little old me and my blog and offered me an opportunity to order one of their dresses and review it.

The thing that is so cool about eShakti is that  you choose a dress, and then input your sizes.  You can even choose the length you want it to be, and what kind of sleeves you want.  Yes, you read that right!  I could have ordered this exact dress in different lengths, and with whatever type of sleeve I wanted!   I felt so pampered!  And I am in love with the dress I chose too.  It will be perfect to wear to one of the graduation events I need to attend.  The chambray is really hot right now, and it never goes out of style in my opinion.

The dress arrived within 14 days, as advertised.  When I received the dress, I thought it was too good to be true!  It fits to perfection, and it is timeless.  I had so much fun styling it in different ways, and I could have styled it in more ways than this.  The white beading at the top of the dress is very unique, and makes the dress special.  It came with this black belt that ties around the waist.  One thing I love is that it has no belt loops, so I don’t have to wear the belt if I don’t want to, or I can add a different belt too.  I added this flirty white flower to the belt in this picture.

I think it looks cute with red (my favorite color) too.  I like to layer cardigans over most of my outfits, because I get a chill really easily, so I always take a sweater with me.

I wish I had a cute red skinny belt to try on with it, but I don’t.  I just might go out and buy one though!

There is a little black trim around the neckline and sleeves too.

I also thought it looked cute with a white blouse and black booties.  This would be cute for either spring or fall.  One thing I absolutely love about this dress is that it has pockets, I love a dress with pockets!

I am never comfortable posing for these types of pictures.  I don’t know how models do it!  They make it look effortless, but it doesn’t feel effortless to me at all!  One thing I loved when I started reading more about eShakti is that they have photos on their website of bloggers wearing their dresses!  I really enjoyed seeing real people wearing their clothing.

If you love the dress I am wearing, I am sorry to report that at the time that I am writing this review, I can’t find it on their website.  I was planning on linking back to it for you.  I am not sure why it is gone, because it was just there the other day when I ordered my red shirt.  Hopefully it is just out of stock and will be replenished.  If so, I will update this review with a link to the dress.   But please don’t let that stop you from checking out all of the other wonderful clothes they have to offer.  I love so many of their dresses and other clothing!  After reading some other blogger reviews for eShakti, it seems that their inventory changes frequently.  That can be both a good and a bad thing.  So if you see something you want, I would encourage you not to wait too long to buy it.  On the other hand, because their inventory frequently changes, you are always going to see something new!
