Fabletics Sage Coat | Style Files

This Fabletics sage coat is a great lightweight jacket for Spring, and I’m sharing two ways to wear it for today’s Style Files.  

Hey friends!  Have you done any shopping for Spring yet?  I have bought one or two things but still haven’t fully wrapped my head around the fact that Spring is here because it’s not feeling quite so Spring like here in West Virginia.  I did, however, order a couple of items from Fabletics recently, and I love this lightweight jacket so much that I had to share it with you!  I styled it two different ways for you today, but this jacket has endless possibilities.  This is the Fabletics sage coat styled in two different ways.

Have you heard of Fabletics?  It’s a line of active wear by Kate Hudson, and who doesn’t love her?  They carry on trend designs that are high quality and at a great price point.  Since I tried Fabletics, I am addicted, and I have no need to shop anyplace else for my active wear because I am blown away by the quality and the cuteness.  I own several pairs of their leggings and work out tops, and they also have so many cute casual things to wear not just to the gym.  This jacket I am featuring here today is just one of them.  It’s called the sage coat, and it comes in this oatmeal color I have, and a grey color called storm heather.  I ordered the oatmeal because I’m a sucker for a cream colored jacket.

I am wearing a medium in this jacket, which is my normal size I usually wear.  I paired it with a mustard colored pair of corduroys and a black plaid button up for the first outfit.  This sage coat is a great layering piece for Spring.  It is something I can guarantee that I will be reaching for again and again.  I love the way you can cinch it in at the waist, and this is adjustable.  The material is kind of a sweatshirt material, and I would say the jacket runs more on the big side than the small side.  I have found this to be true for all of the tops I have ordered from this website.

The only thing missing from this jacket is pockets.  I really do feel like adding pockets to this was a no brainer.  So I’m not sure why it doesn’t have pockets, and although I wish it had them, it won’t stop me from wearing this multiple times.  Because I like the style and the fit enough that I am willing to live without pockets.

I also styled my Fabletics sage coat with a simple little black dress, black leggings and a pair of leopard booties.  Remember, I have mentioned this several times, I use leopard as a neutral.  When you view it as a neutral, there are endless options for things to combine leopard with.  These booties are my fave!

I love this black dress, and believe it or not, a friend of mine designed it.  I have a local friend who is a fashion designer, and her company is called Little Black Designs (on Etsy).  This dress in particular is called the Mimi dress, and it is one of my favorite dresses, because it is so easy to wear and looks good no matter what.  It’s difficult to see exactly what this dress looks like in my photos.  I have a difficult time photographing black, but if you go to the link I provided you can see what the dress looks like.
