How to Get Sexy Sun Kissed Legs Instantly

Nope, no one paid me to say this, I am saying it because this product is one of the best products I have ever used on my ghostly white legs!

Let me start by saying up front, I used to be a sun worshipper, back in the day. I used to go to the tanning bed every Spring, faithfully. But I gave that all up almost 9 years ago because I had to have several spots removed off of my body that turned out to be basal cell carcinoma. And my dermatologist and friend told me it wasn’t damage that had been done recently. It was damage that had been done through years of tanning beds and laying in the sun. I made a choice to never lay in a tanning bed again, and to always wear sun screen when I am out in the sun. Do I still go out in the sun, yes, I take my child to the pool, and we go to the beach, and I do lay in the sun during those times. But I am always wearing sun screen.

So after I gave up tanning beds to get some color in the Spring, I started my self tanning journey. And trust me, it has been a journey of trial and error. But this post isn’t about self tanner. It is about leg makeup. That’s right! I have been using leg makeup this Spring, and I am in love with it!

I feel the need to shout this one from the rooftops to all of the women in Bridgeport and the world who have given up tanning beds, or hate their legs so they don’t wear shorts- you must try this product!!

So let me tell you more about this product and how I use it. First of all, it is not self tanner. It is better than self tanner. Not only does it make your legs look tan, it covers other ugliness on your legs, like freckles, veins, and other imperfections. And bonus! It is also water resistant! I saw this product on shelves for years before I bought a can on a whim one day. And thank goodness I bought it!

So here is how you apply it. You shake it up really well, then you spray some into the palm of your hand, and just apply it like lotion. Just keep rubbing all over your legs, knees, ankles, feet and toes, until you like what you see. I keep a barely damp rag handy to rub any spots on around my ankles, feet and toes that may look streaky. I just gently rub and it seems to magically all blend in. Then you need to let it dry for one minute before you get dressed. Also, this product will be all over your hands, so you have to wash them immediately. I must say, I was very skeptical that this stuff was going to rub off onto my clothes, or run if my legs got wet. Nope! That never happened! I have white sheets, and after applying it one morning my little one come into my bed and asked me to lay down and snuggle him. I cringed because I though it would get on my sheets, but I laid down anyway, and when I got up, I was shocked that there was nothing on my white sheets at all!! But not only does it not rub off on things, it is water resistant! How do I know this? Well, one evening I took a quick shower to wash my hair, but I did not shave my legs, or wash them with soap and water. I had applied this product that morning. I got out of the shower, towel dried myself, and this product was still looking good on my legs! I could not believe my eyes! I actually had to wash them with soap and water and a pouf or washcloth to get it off!

And the best part? My legs looked better than they had in years! I felt like I had sexy legs! I’m not kidding you. I never look at my legs in the mirror and think sexy. But the first time I used this I felt sexy! And LC thought I looked sexy too. Here’s how I know this. That same day I applied it for the first time, I was at my son’s choir practice after work,( yes I had already been wearing this stuff for a full day) and LC came into his choir practice. He walked over and immediately told me my legs looked so sexy! He said that he had to look twice when he saw me because he didn’t think it was me! Now, I wasn’t sure if I should take that one as a compliment! But he said it was because my legs looked so tanned, and my legs are not tanned at all. And that evening he kept mentioning how good my legs looked and getting all frisky, hehe. (Too much information? Sorry, but his reaction definitely convinced me that this product was amazing!) But it wasn’t just him, there were also some people at work who noticed my legs that day too, and asked how I got so tanned.Update (4/26): I just received a text from a friend who read this post, and she told me how much she loves this product and has been using it for years. She has really bad spider veins and without this stuff, she would not want to wear anything above the ankle. She also told me they now sell this product in a cream as well as the spray. She says it is a little less messy. I am so glad she texted to tell me this. She is about my age, and it sounds like this stuff changed her life! I know of many women who don’t wear shorts or skirts with bare legs for these types of reasons. If you know people like this, have them read this post! It might change their life too!

I will be a forever customer, and it has changed the way I self tan forever. Do I still use self tanner? Yes, I use it on a daily basis. But when I want to take the extra effort and I know I am wearing something that shows my bare legs, I love this stuff more than any self tanner I have ever tried. They need to make some that is for the entire body. Actually, I am thinking about trying this stuff out on my whole body, but that will have to be on a day that I have no plans and have time to experiment.
