It’s time for a new Style Files, and today the focus is cozy scarves for winter.
Hey friends! I’m back today with a new addition to style files, and today is all about cozy scarves. There is no doubt about it, I am a cozy scarf kind of girl all the way. I cannot get enough of them, and today I wanted to share a few of my newest additions to my scarf collection. And I have also made a few shoppable graphics with some scarves that I just love! So you can click the photo and be taken right to the website that sells that particular scarf. I also think that a scarf makes an awesome Christmas gift, so if you are looking for a last minute gift, maybe a scarf would be the perfect gift for that special someone you are wanting to buy for.

I received this cozy scarf in my Fall Fab Fit Fun Box, and I was so excited when I unrolled it and saw the fringe detail on it! I love it so much that I wanted to wear it right away, but I had to wait a bit for the weather to cool down. In case you have not heard of a Fab Fit Fun Box, it is a subscription box that sends a box of fabulous finds in beauty, wellness, fashion, and fitness, hand-picked by the Fab Fit Fun team, delivered once per season.
Four times a year, you will be sent a seasonal box! Each box is limited edition and contains $200+ in retail value. Boxes are shipped in March, June, September, and December. To join Fab Fit Fun and start receiving a box, you can click here. I love receiving these boxes, and it is always a very happy mail day. As a matter of fact, my winter box is on the way and I can’t wait to receive it!
This scarf is so soft, and I love the ombre teal colors in it. It’s so pretty that I keep it out hanging in my bedroom because I don’t want it to be hidden away.
Here are some other scarves I have found that have a similar fringe detail that I just love.
Would you believe me if I told you I found this color blocked wool skirt at a thrift store for less than $10? True story! And it is one of my favorite winter skirts I own. Not only is it cute, but it has pockets, which is always a good idea.
I also love this plaid infinity scarf that I am wearing with it, and I found this scarf at a Hallmark store of all places. Unfortunately I can’t find it online. I loved the colors and the plaid, so it had to come home with me.
Can I just tell you how I really felt while taking these photos? It’s probably obvious, but I felt cold people! Trying to take outfit photos in a cold climate can suck it, At this time of year I wish I lived in Texas, or South Carolina, or California. You get the jist.
Black peplum cardigan option | brown boot option
I’ve had these boots more years than I’ve had my husband, can you believe it? They are 16 years old, from J Crew back when I used to receive a catalog, and I still love them! I’m thinking about taking them to get maintenanced at a local shoe shop.
I love plaid scarves, and infinity scarves are a fun alternative to a blanket scarf. And a bit less cumbersome if you don’t like all of that bulk around your neck.
When I noticed the soft greys and pinks in this blanket scarf, I knew I had to have it. And I happened upon it at the Target Dollar Spot for a whopping $7! Keep your eyes peeled for these blanket scarves at your local Target. This is the second time I have bought one, and I found an equally cute solid gray one for my daughter for Christmas. Unfortunately I can’t find this exact scarf online. You might notice a little photo bomber in the photo below. That is our pug named Tyson Chicken Nugget. He’s showing you his teeth.
Grey cardigan option option | White jeans | grey bootie option | Pink peplum top
I paired this pastel scarf with white jeans and a light grey cardigan. I love that people are throwing old rules out the window and it’s OK to wear white during winter if you want to nowadays. I think white jeans can be great for winter at times, and I like them with the pastel colors in this scarf.
Below is a collection of soft colored blanket scarves similar to the one I am wearing. I just love all of these soft colors!

Such cute scarves! I love large blanket scarves for the winter because they’re just so cozy and you can really layer them and feel warm!

Me too Ruth! Best creation ever! I’m always cold, and I think it gets worse as I get older.
I love a good blanket scarf and own several myself. These outfits are all so put-together. The middle look is perfect for Christmas but my favorite is the last one. So cozy and pretty all in light shades of gray. Winter perfection!
Welcome by tomorrow night and link up with me! Thanks <3 Ada.
Merry Christmas Nicki!
