Summer to Fall Transition Outfits

It’s mid November, and this Fall has been amazing here in West Virginia! Very little rain, warm, a lot of sunshine, just the perfect Fall weather, in my book. I only just last week finished transitioning my wardrobe and getting out all of my winter things, but I really haven’t needed them much yet. I have still been wearing a lot of my summer clothing and just mixing and matching them to make them work for Fall. In between seasons is a hard time for deciding what to wear, so I thought I would share a few outfits I have worn over the last few weeks that I consider Summer transitioning to Fall .

This white denim jacket is worn a lot in the Spring and in the Fall. I think the white jacket and the pops of floral and hot pink in the belt make this a great transitional outfit.

I’ve lost count of how many times I have worn this black strapless maxi dress. I bought in on clearance for $9.99 years ago at Target. I usually wear it in the summer, but this is an example of how I have transitioned it into Fall. Very simple with a denim jacket and a scarf. I am wearing sandals with this outfit, but have since packed most of my sandals away and replaced them with my boots.

I bought this black jacket a few years ago at Talbots. I love it because of the ruffle all around the trim. I saw it from out in the hallway at a mall, and went straight in and bought it! It is great for Spring and Fall as a layering piece. On this particular day I styled it with my favorite red skirt, some stripes and some leopard.

I was at a local park trying to take outfit pictures on this day, and it kept drizzling. I finally just gave up!

This next outfit is one of my favorite Summer to Fall transition outfits so far this Fall. I love to wear this white dress with Fall accents! This chunky cardigan is a great Pumpkin color, and I paired it with black patterned tights, a black scarf, and black booties.
