Hi all! I can’t believe it’s been a month since I have written a fashion post! I never really planned to take a break from it, but I got so caught up in decorating for Christmas, sharing Christmas in my home, and enjoying the Holiday season that it just got away from me. But I never stopped taking photos of my outfits. Today I want to share a little of my holiday style with you. If you are wondering what to wear for Christmas Eve, Christmas day, or any day in between Christmas and New Years, you just might find some outfit inspiration here today! This first outfit is what I wore to a wedding a few weeks ago. It was an outdoor weeding at a place in WV called Blackwater Falls. And LC was the best man. We had a lovely time, but I had a hard time trying to choose what to wear to an outdoor wedding in December. This is what I came up with.
The lace tunic was actually my bathing suit cover up from last summer. I had hung it in my closet thinking it might be pretty to wear during the winter. I knew I wanted to wear my thrifted fur coat that I bought in the Fall, and so I created this outfit around the coat, because I never took the coat off until the reception began. I added my faux fur scarf, and some pearly jewelry to finish it off.

This striped cardigan is a new purchase that I got from Sheinside. I just know it is going to be a staple in my wardrobe for a long time. I love the elbow patches!
I bought this tweed skirt last Fall at a thrift shop, and this red sweater I found at Marshalls in the fall. I love the fit of the sweater, and it is perfect to wear with black leggings too.
I have really been enjoying wearing this buffalo plaid vest that I ordered in the Fall. I styled it for work with a pair of white jeans and a chambray shirt with tall black boots.
This dress is a summer dress that I purchased this past summer, and it worked just fine in our mild weather we have been having recently. I love it with this pop of blue in this peacoat. Unfortunately this dress from Loft is sold out, but I linked to a couple of other dresses in similar pattersn that I think are really cute.
Red is my favorite color, and I love these red skinny jeans that I picked up in Zara during a trip to NYC a few years ago. And this time of the year is perfect to wear them. I styled them with grey and black and white checks for work one day.
And Here is another way that I styled my plaid vest, I told you it would be on repeat! It looks so different with jeans and a striped shirt, don’t you think?
Ugly Christmas sweaters seem to be all the rage, and this is us at the ugly Christmas sweater party we went to at my cousin’s house a couple of weeks ago. I bought mine at a consignment store. And you know LC was not springing for an ugly sweater, so he bought this T shirt at Walmart.
Now is a great time to buy a Christmas sweater, because they are all marked way down. Of course, you won’t have it in time to wear this year, but you can save it for next year! That’s what I did. I picked some of my favorites that you can browse today. I actually purchased the very first one shown, but in red with white letters. I had to have it! I am still holding out hope that it will arrive today or tomorrow, but if not, I will definitely wear it next year! You can also click the arrow to scroll to another whole page of sweaters that I have chosen. Enjoy! Let me know if you just had to have one too! Which is your favorite?
I’m so happy to be back to my fashion posts, and just in time for Christmas! I hope you enjoyed seeing a bit of my holiday style, and that you found some inspiration today. Just two more sleeps until Christmas! I still have to pick up a few things, do some grocery shopping, bake some more cookies, and a few last minute things to wrap. I’ll be back tomorrow to share one more quick tutorial with you about how I made the centerpiece in my dining room this year. Have a great day!
