Sweet Parrish Place Style ( Vol. 1)

Hey all! Welcome to my Weekly What I Wore Wednesday post! Only, you might have noticed that I changed the name of the post to Sweet Parrish Place Style. Same post I do every week- different title. So let’s get on with the show! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice.

I wore this outfit on casual Friday, but I also had a work meeting that afternoon, so I was a tad more dressy than I usually am on casual Friday. I think this outfit looked casual yet still professional.

These booties are a new purchase I made for fall, and I love them! When we were shopping (in Pittsburgh), I had a really hard time finding any black shoes I really loved. I didn’t have anything specific in mind, only that I needed something new that was black. These are kind of in between a really dark navy and a distressed looking black color. I think they fit the bill. And I like the heel height. They are a wedge, in case you can’t tell.

A gold tassel necklace was another thing on my fall shopping list. I found this one on clearance at Loft Outlet.

I almost forgot I had these pants, don’t know why, they are hanging right in my closet. So I thought I would wear them before winter. This was a day at work.

I like the lace back on this cream colored sweater. This was in a pile of stuff my daughter was getting rid of, so I swiped it. I believe it is from American Eagle. I like Sperry’s for fall.

This is what I wore to a casual dinner with the kids on Saturday evening. Very comfortable outfit. I love to wear stuff like this. You can see another way I styled this striped sweater here.

I will reiterate, yet again, how much I love these booties! They are my most favorite shoe that I have owned in years. Not only do I love the color, I love the height of the heel. I love the cut outs. They look great with no socks, but I also think they are super fun with socks. I paired them with red socks for this outfit. And I love the look. What do you think of them with socks?

As recently as last Fall and Winter, I would have never in a million years worn black tights with an outfit like this one below. But now, I think it looks fresh and trendy. I love the combination! What do you think of it? I did receive several compliments on it at work. You can see how I wore this green skirt in the summer here.

I bought this sweater last spring at Gap, on clearance for $3.97. Now, that is a deal! It was originally almost $50. This is the first time I have worn it. The infinity scarf is also from Gap last winter.

This outfit inspired by this pin. I wasn’t totally happy with this outfit after I actually had it on, but Oh well, it is horrible I guess. The black ankle pants are new that I bought for fall.

In the picture above I am wearing black pumps, but I’m not gonna lie, I wore the zebra loafers with it to work. I just put the pumps on for the picture. Hehe. I did like it better with the pumps, but there was just no way I was wearing those to work. I walk around, A LOT!
