Sweet Parrish Place Style {Vol. 11}

Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, age appropriate, and modest, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles. I broke out my tripod this past week to take my outfit pictures. I would love it if you let me know what you think!
I wore this first outfit to a work meeting last week. I was going for casual yet professional. I bought this chunky Free People sweater a few years ago at an outlet for a steal.

This day I just felt like being comfy and neutral at work, and I came up with this very simple outfit. The coach shoes are an old pair my daughter wanted to get rid of. I took snatched them from the Goodwill pile. They are fur lined!

This was casual Friday. And I am wearing my new buffalo plaid shirt that I got for Christmas. I not only wore this to work, but I also wore it out that evening to see Wand Sikes. She was hilarious, I highly recommend her stand up show! But back to the outfit, I love the mix of stripes and plaid. I don’t know about you, but in the cold of winter, I cannot go with bare ankles, so I decided to go with red socks for this outfit. I liked them!

This tunic dress is something I bought 3-4 years ago at a small local boutique. It was one of those items that I saw and could not stop thinking about, so I want back and bought it. And I am glad I did, because although I don’t wear it a ton, I have worn it a few times each winter. I just think it is fun and comfortable. I had planned to wear it with black boots, but at the last minute I grabbed the rain boots and put them on. The forecast called for rain, but it ended up being sunny, go figure!
