Sweet Parrish Place Style {Vol. 13}

Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles. This was my casual Friday outfit. This sweater that I bought at Gap is something that I want to pull out of my closet every time I am picking out something to wear.

Both the skirt and the sweater in this next picture have been in my wardrobe for a few years. I think the skirt is actually ten years old, but I still like it. I paired it with a pair of fleece lined tights and a pair of booties that I love, seriously so comfortable!

We ran some errands and met a friend for dinner on Saturday and this is what I wore. I felt like I was wearing sweats, but looked pulled together- win win! I like the black, white, and brown flannel peeking out just a little. I bought this sweater with the leather pockets at JCrew Factory in the Fall, but it isn’t online. And everything else I am wearing is old.

This is what I wore yesterday to work. Unfortunately, my little guy got sick at school and I had to take a half day, so I didn’t wear it for long. I bought this brown cape in the fall from a local boutique in Pittsburgh, but can’t remember the name of it.

Wedge Boots / Pencil Skirt/ Turtleneck (old)
