Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blogland who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles. This was a typical workday. I am really feeling in the mood for spring, so these colors were brightening my day! And I was able to get outside to take these pictures. It was freezing, but the sun was shining and it felt refreshing to be out for a brief time.
Scarf- Marshall’s// Striped shirt- thrifted// Green Sweater (old)- Old Navy// Blue pants- Marshalls// Navy booties
Sometimes I wonder if I am the only person on earth still wearing boot cut pants. It seems like all I see are skinny pants nowadays. And don’t get me wrong, I like them, but I also am not ready to throw out every other pant in my closet. What are your thoughts on boot cut or flared pants?
Another work day here. I love these polka dotted pants!
This fair aisle sweater was a thrift store find last winter. I wore this on casual Friday. It was very cold that day and I was trying to just stay warm!
Sweater- thrifted// jeans- old// Sperry’s// Scarf- Gap (old)This white jacket is very warm, and I love the bright white. the only problem is that I get makeup on it so I hate to wear it a lot, because I have to wash it. But when I do wear it I always like it.
We went to the movies and just out for the day on Saturday, and this is what I wore. Saturday was a wow day here! The whole weekend was warm and sunny, it was awesome, we didn’t even need coats! I got outside to take these pictures just as the sun was starting to set, the sky was pretty! I love this orange patterned tunic that I purchased in the fall. Unfortunately it is no longer available.
And last up for this week is this work outfit. I purchased the hounds tooth wool skirt at a thrift store. I like it because I love the color, the pattern, and the length. It is good for work. The sweater in a hand me down from Our Swedish Daughter, who left behind a bunch of clothes went she left to go back to Sweden.
