Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blogland who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles. I bought this black and purple tunic dress a few years ago at the Banana Republic Outlet, and I still love it. I like the retro vibe it gives off. This is the first time I have tried layering this black striped turtleneck under it, and I liked the contrast, and it was really cold that day so it was much needed!

This was a cold, snowy work day, and I just wanted to be cozy. You can see the chevron scarf styled with a different outfit here. I bought the scarf last winter at a small local boutique.

This is what I wore for date night with LC for Valentines Day. It was a blizzard outside, but we braved the snow and went out to dinner and a movie anyway. I purchased this plaid jacket at Goodwill recently. These are not the best pictures, but I didn’t have time to get out my real camera, plus it was dark out. So LC took this on his phone.
I am wearing this “N” necklace with this outfit, but the pictures don’t show it very well. LC bought me this necklace for Valentines Day. And I Love, Love Love it! It is neutral enough to wear with anything, and I will be wearing this for years to come.
This was casual Friday, and the day before Valentines Day, so I thought pink was in order. I love these Coach sneakers that I took from my daughter when she was getting rid of them. They are lined with fur (no longer available). I can’t link back to anything in this outfit, because it is all a couple of years old. Although I will mention that the jeans I am wearing are Lucky Brand jeans, and I love them, they are one of my most comfortable pairs of jeans.
Here are some alternative ways that I styled some of the pieces I wore this past week.
