Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles.
This dress may be older than my marriage. But I still like and wear it. I love the shape and fit. It is like wearing sweats, only dressier.
I wore this black cardigan over it most of the day at work.
Grey dress- The Limited (old)// Black cardigan (on sale for $64.99 and you get an extra 40%) // Polka dotted tights- Old Navy (sold out)// black boots (currently on sale for $84.50)
I wore this to the movies on Saturday, and didn’t get a chance to take pictures, so I snapped one with my phone when we got home. this isn’t a very good picture of these jeans, but they are a new purchase, and I absolutely LOVE THEM!!! They are the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn. They are very skinny, very stretchy, and they have the cutest boyfriend cuff at the bottom too. And you will not believe it when I tell you where I bought them…Wal-Mart! I usually don’t even shop for clothes there, but I was there spending charity money on clothing for the school where I work, and I happened across these on clearance and thought what the heck? I am in need of more skinny jeans, most of mine are boot cut. So I took a chance on them and I now want to wear them every second of every day!
Red and white striped shirt (similar– and love this version!)// Jeans– $14.44- limited stock left// brown boots (old)
Cream long sweater- Gap (old)
We had some more snow days last week, so this is the last outfit I have to share with you. It has warmed up this week, so this marks my first attempt at mixing winter into spring transition. Both the cardigan and tiered ruffle tank (both from Loft) I am wearing here were purchased at Goodwill. And so were the zebra loafers!
Cardigan- Loft (thrifted- but love this color that is available)// Black pants
Have you seen my new favorite necklace yet? LC bought me this giant “N” necklace as one of my valentines gifts- and I can’t get enough of it!
