Sweet Parrish Place Style (Vol. 2)

Hey all! Welcome to my What I Wore Wednesday post! Only, you might have noticed that I changed the name of the post to Sweet Parrish Place Style. Same post I do every week- different title. So let’s get on with the show! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice.

One fashion trend that I am in love with for Fall is to take a summer dress, and add a chunky sweater and boots. I actually did that twice with two different summer dresses this past week. I am trying to wear these summery dresses one last time before winter. This is my first version. You can see how I wore this dress during summer here.

White dress- French Connection via Consignment Shop.

Chunky sweater- from my daughter (old)

Black riding boots- Ralph Lauren via Gabriel Brother’s (similar)

I also like the look of adding a summery scarf to a fall outfit, which Is what I did below.

Blush jeans- Loft (sold out), but they do have a pair of skinny corduroy’s in this color

Black cardigan- Loft

Black ankle boots- Nine West- sold out, but I like these and these

The Ring was handmade from an artist in Atlanta, the bracelet was handmade by a friend

Saturday we went to a fundraiser at Mr. 6 Year Old’s school called Trick or Trot. People decorate their cars for Halloween and give out candy, and the kids wear their costumes. It was lots of fun and some great cars! This is what I wore.

This is another summer dress styled for Fall. I am so glad that I bought this red linen dress years ago, because I have worn it a million times, and I never stop loving it. It is one of those dresses that I want to reach for every time I am looking for a dress to wear. Do you have a dress like that? My husband really liked this outfit, and he doesn’t often comment on my outfits, so score!
