Sweet Parrish Place Style {Vol. 24}

Have you checked out my 16 Spring Fashion Must Haves yet?  If not, have a look, you might fall in love!!
Full floral skirt, plaid shirt, grey pumps2
Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post!   Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice.  As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles.
I have had this skirt for maybe nine years.  There have been several times I have almost got rid of it, and I decided to keep it, and I am so glad I did, because it is in again this Spring!  I love the pairing of the floral and the plaid.

I had a nasty stomach bug for a couple of days last week, and had to take a day off from work.  When I went back on Friday, my stomach was not totally better, so I wanted something comfortable,and I decided to be daring and wear my joggers to work.  I asked LC, and he thought they were black dress pants, so I guess I pulled it off!

I love this Navy fit and flare dress with the polka dots.  It is a new addition to my wardrobe for Spring.  It is as comfortable as a T Shirt- made out of jersey material.  This is what I wore to church on Sunday.

What do you think about an all white look?  I have seen it on so many people online, and I decided to give it a try.  These jeans and this white button down are both new Spring additions to my wardrobe.  These jeans are awesome, they are stretchy, but still slim and I like the length.

I am enjoying having some new clothes to wear for Spring, and I love this denim vest!  It will be a staple in my wardrobe for years to come!  I also love this colorful scarf, which I picked up at Target over the weekend on clearance for a little over $7!  And of course, my black Birkenstock knock offs, I want to wear them every single day for the rest of the summer, and at only $29.99, I can go get another pair if these wear out!  I bought mine at a store called The Shoe Department, which doesn’t have a website, but I found them at Macy’s online- exact same sandal, but $49, still not badly priced. The link is below, but if you love these sandals and have a Shoe Dept. in your area, go there!  And I just wanted you to know, my toe nails are painted- white!  It doesn’t show up in the pictures, and that bugs me, because i would never wear sandals without painting my toes- eeek!!!
