Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles.

I bought these floral palazzo pants last summer, and I loved them then, but I think I love them even more now, because floral on a black background is the rage for spring and summer, so these were a little ahead of their time! The pants are so busy that I thought the white shirt was great with them.

This dress is new to me this Spring, but it is not really new at all! It is a Vintage dress from the 1960’s and I purchased it for $9.50 on EBay. You can find the seller at wanderingprincess. It is a little big on me, but with a belt it is just fine. I dig the pointy collar!

I wanted a sweater to wear with it because it is often chilly at work, and everything I was trying seemed too matchy matchy, so I went with leopard because to me it is a neutral. I think it works.

This Izod skirt is also a vintage item that I purchased at a Vintage store in Destin, FL a couple of years ago. I kept this on simple too with a white sleeveless shirt. I also wore a denim jacket with it to church. But it was just too hot to take pictures with it on. This is what I wore for Mother’s day.

I love the simplicity of this outfit. It seems like I have been leaning towards more simple outfit combinations lately, and when I look at pictures of myself afterwards, those are the ones I like. I also absolutely love the mix of black and brown. Can’t get enough of it.

By the way, if you are noticing how tan my legs look, it is totally not real. I actually have no tan whatsoever, and you can read how I got my legs looking this way in the post How to Get Sexy Sun Kissed Legs Instantly. Love this stuff. Words can never say how much. And every time I use it people compliment me on my legs! Interesting because no one compliments my legs any other time!

I finally got out all of my summer wardrobe that was packed in the attic over the weekend, and these yellow pants were one of the things that were up there. This shirt is new this Spring, and currently on sale for $13.00.

Before you go, I just wanted to let you know I will be taking a little break from the blog for the next week or so. My son is running in Regional’s for his high school tomorrow (wish him luck and say a little prayer for him!), so I am travelling to that, then I have to travel to Charleston, WV on Thursday and Friday for work, and as soon as I get back on Friday evening, we are leaving to take a little getaway to Las Vegas!! EEK, Can I possibly fit anything more in there? I am not even sure how I am going to find time to pack! But looking forward to Vegas for sure!
