Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles to shop their own closets. You don’t always have to buy something new! All of the outfits I am wearing for this post are things that I have worn to over the past week. This was the first time I ever wore this maxi dress, which was given to me by a friend with the price tags still on it, score! I wore it with a cardigan that is the same color purple as the purple in the dress when I was at work.
Have any of you noticed anything different about me this week? I got quite a few inches cut off of my hair! I usually do in the Fall, it just feels easier to maintain with a busy work schedule. I will let it get a little longer again shen summer comes next year. This outfit was my very first time transitioning into fall with what I wore, it was a slightly chilly day, so I threw on this flowy cardigan and scarf. The scarf is one of those things that I can wear with multiple things.

I have owned this skirt for about 10 years now, and I don’t think I wore it in the past year or two, but I feel like it’s making a comeback!
