Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, and age appropriate, and I hope to provide inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles to shop their own closets. You don’t always have to buy something new! All of the outfits I am wearing for this post are things that I have worn over the past two weeks. Stay tuned for some thoughts I have been having regarding my weekly style post, and some possible changes I may be making at the bottom of this post.
I bought this denim shirtdress last fall, and I continue to love it just as much. It is one of my favorite things in my closet.
I have owned this tiered grey skirt for a few years now, and I have styled it with so many different things in my closet! I picked up the linen button down at a thrift store a while back, and the chambray shirt underneath was purchased over the summer.
grey tiered skirt (old) similar look // linen shirt- thrifted// chambray shirt- Gap (sold out) similar// animal print wedges (old) love these
Have you noticed me wearing this denim vest pretty much every week lately? I think I might be liking it more for Fall than Spring and summer! I love to layer things, and it makes the perfect layering piece. I like it with this printed tunic because the tunic is loose fitting and the vest adds some definition to the waist.
So far, our Fall days have been mild, and it has still be fairly warm. I decided to wear this floral tank I had bought over the summer with a black cardigan and it transitions right to fall! The tuxedo pants are one of those pairs of pants that are good for at least three seasons, if not every season. The tree behind our house was in full color over the weekend, but it doesn’t last long, the leaves are already falling off.

Stay tuned at the bottom of this post for some of my favorite picks from Banan Republic- they are having a great sale right now!
I have been thinking a lot about these weekly style posts, and I have been doing them every week for a couple of years now, if not more. Lately, I have been feeling a little burned out on them, and conflicted about it. I love fashion and style, and that will never change, but the monotony of taking pictures every day and posting them every week is starting to feel boring to me. I am wondering what you, my readers think? I would love for you to share your thoughts if you have any. I want to keep writing about my love for personal style and fashion, but maybe not in quite the same I have been. I am thinking of continuing to do style posts with outfits I wear, just maybe not once per week anymore. Or I have been brainstorming a more creative way to bring you my personal style and things I wear. So far, I got nothing! So if any of you have any lovely ideas I would absolutely love some input. But just know that some changes in regards to how I bring you my personal style and fashion may be changing in the near future, and I may try a few different ideas out just to see how they go over with people. Again, your thoughts on the subject would be much appreciated!
