Sweet Parrish Place Style {Vol. 46}

Hey
all! Welcome to my weekly style post!   Every week, I take pictures of
my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same.
These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had
a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and
shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the
clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact
same way more than once or twice.  As a middle school counselor, I am
always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional,
and age appropriate, and I hope to provide inspiration to other women
and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles to shop their own
closets.  You don’t always have to buy something new!  All of the
outfits I am wearing for this post are things that I have worn  over the
past two weeks – See more at:

Hey friends! Today I wanted to share some of the things I have been wearing lately, in this, the dead of winter.  So hard to get out to take pictures though, I have to say- BRRRR!   Every week, I take pictures
of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same.
As a matter of fact the only new thing in this first outfit is my shoes.  And I paid $19 for them on clearance at Marshals recently.

This outfit was picked out before we got the huge snowstorm, so it hung there just waiting to be worn for days.  Both the blazer and the gingham shirt in this outfit were thrifted.  You will notice in some of these photos that I am indoors.  I have never really had a good neutral spot to take photos in this house, but now that my daughters new room is all finished, I have been taking some of the pictures in there when I just can’t take the cold temps anymore.  It has great afternoon light, and it is fairly neutral, so I am glad I am able to do this.  Not as good as outside, but a halfway decent alternative.

Again, the only new item I am wearing in this next outfit is the shoes, and oh how I love these shoes!  The sweater is thrifted, and the skirt belonged to LC’s grandmother.  Remember when I told you that a leopard shoe can be a neutral?  This outfit is the perfect example of that.

This outfit is all about being comfortable and warm.  I bought this cardigan from Loft many years ago, and it still remains a go to in my closet.

I spent the better part of a week snowed in, and so these outfits were taken over the past few weeks.   I hate the snow, but I love the snow days.  I got so much done at home!  Were you snowed in where you live?  Do you have big plans for the weekend?  We are helping a friend move.  Happy to help, but not looking forward to the cold while moving, that is going to suck!  Have a great weekend, enjoy!
