It’s time for a new Sweet Parrish Place Style, Vol. 57, where I share some daily outfits that I have been wearing!

Hey friends! The weather has been a little schizophrenic around here lately, and I haven’t been able to bust out my entire Spring wardrobe for fear of freezing my buns off! One of the things I love to do is share my daily outfits on Instagram and join some really fun fashion challenge hashtag parties. I try to do a little round-up of these outfits that I share on Instagram once a month or so on the blog. So today I am sharing some of my daily outfits with you, Instagram style.
Some of the links in this post are affiliate links, which allows me to make a small commission from your purchase, but your purchase price stays the same.
In the photo above, I am wearing a dress I bought recently that is a new favorite of mine. I love black and white gingham, and this dress has the cutest bell sleeves! This is actually the outfit I wore on Easter, and unfortunately I had to throw on a cardigan with it because c-c-c-cold!
In the photo below, you can see I am wearing the same cardigan. It’s just such a lovely color for Spring, I couldn’t resist putting it on repeat! The striped skirt was a thrift store find, but you can easily copy this look with a different striped skirt.
Did you know that you can shop the looks I share for SPP Style and on Instagram right here from my blog!? You can always find the Shop My Looks tab by going to the style tab at the top of my home page, and then you will click on Shop My Looks. You will be taken to a really nifty page where you can find many of my looks and click right on the different images to go directly to the website were you can purchase those items. Give it a try! Go on, I’ll wait……….. pretty nifty, huh?
For the longest time, I have been toying with the idea of wearing a jumpsuit, but I just wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. And then I happened upon someone on Instagram stories doing a try on session of this striped jumpsuit from Old Navy, and I just had to take the risk. so I ran out and bought this one for Spring, and I like it a lot! Of course, I cannot resist the navy and white stripes. It had me at hello!
This jumpsuit is a terry cloth material, and it has a really cute keyhole cut out in the back, which is how you take it down to go to the restroom, just in case you are wondering!

Did you know I love to shop at consignment stores and thrift stores for clothing items? I found both this olive J Crew sweater and this gingham button down and thrift stores. Sometimes when I find something great at a store like this, I just wonder what made that person decide to part with that item, don’t you?
Stacked Tassel Necklace (different color) | Feather Cuff necklace
I’m sharing another repeat here with this black sweater. I found this sweater in the Fall and it has the cutest side tie openings on each side. It’s a lightweight sweater so it is perfect to wear at this time of the year. I like it with this outfit below with the pops of blue.
Next up, I have paired the same sweater with a pair of wine colored skinny jeans. And a black and white stripe top adds a little more interest underneath the sweater.
Last but not least is this spotted dress that I so adore. You may have seen it before on the blog, but it truly is one of those dresses that I bought the minute I saw it, and I have never regretted it for one moment. I bought it from Ann Taylor, and it is long been sold out, but I highly encourage you to add an animal print dress to your wardrobe. It can be mixed and matched with so many things and almost every color of the rainbow! Here I am pairing it with a red cardigan, which is a new purchase of mine.
A red cardigan is a closet staple in my opinion. some people may disagree, but red is my favorite color, and I like to have the color red in every aspect of my wardrobe. Especially in a cardigan. I had one for years that finally was starting to show its age, so I sent it along to Goodwill and bought a new one. It will be with me for many years to come. Until it starts to show its age and I have to replace it once again.
As I have grown older, I have found myself more interested in adding staples and classic items to my wardrobe. I still love fashion, of course! And I still want to look young, stylish, and on trend. But I also want to dress appropriate for my age and my career. I find myself only wanting to keep the items in my closet that I love and the rest needs to go. I have been slowly doing a major purge in my closet, and have found it to be refreshing and much easier to mix and match and find something to wear on a daily basis.
I don’t always wear things that are brand new, and I am on a budget. I love sharing about fashion on my blog, and I hope to inspire people who are close to my same age that you can look stylish and trendy while keeping to a budget, and you can make your own wardrobe work for you! In the even that I am wearing something that is no longer for sale in stores, I try to link to similar styles, colors, and looks so that you are able to recreate these looks for yourself.
That’s it for today, I hope you found some new outfit inspiration, and fresh ideas for mixing things up in your closet! Which outfit or styles are your favorite?
