Sweet Parrish Place Style {Vol. 7}

Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice. As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, age appropriate, and modest, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions.

This denim shirt dress was on my must have fall fashion list. You can see how I wore it early in the fall here. What do you think of the tights? This is the first time I have worn them, and I felt a little risqué. But I received compliments on them from the girl students at my school!

Mr. 6 Year Old had a lovely chorus concert this past weekend. This is he and I in the warm up room. Isn’t he adorable in his little bow tie?

This was casual Friday at work. Loving the mix of stripes and plaid. I hate having to take pictures inside, but it has rained a lot lately and we have been forced indoors for some pictures. But hey, check out my new fireplace! I love the scarf I bought for Fall from Forever 21, but can’t find it on the website. You can see another way I styled it here.

I have had this puffer vest for years, from the Tommy Hilfiger Outlet, and I wear it every winter. As a matter of fact I have had all of the pieces in this outfit for a while. Except for they boots, they were new in the Fall.

This is my attempt at mixing patterns a little. As with the above outfit, this is mostly older items, and I can’t really link back to much. I bought this cardigan at a thrift store, and I love the length of it because it is great to wear with leggings.

I came home from work and changed everything but the sweater and scarf. I had someone coming to make a video with me about our Christmas Tree (exciting!), and I wanted to look less work like, and more Christmas like.
