Sweet Parrish Place Style {Vol. 8}

Hey all! Welcome to my weekly style post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join other bloggers around blog land who do the same. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice.  As a middle school counselor, I am always looking for inspiration, and ways to be stylish, professional, age appropriate, and modest, and I hope to provide that same inspiration to other women and mothers in similar professions or lifestyles.

This was probably my favorite outfit of the week.  I have owned this cream coat for several years, but I don’t wear it that often, even though I love it.  It is such a light color that I hate to get it dirty.  I just think it is really sharp looking, so I thought I would show it to you.

This dress was purchased off of the clearance rack at Gap several years ago.  I didn’t wear it for a long time, and almost got rid of it a few times, but I guess it has made a comeback in my wardrobe – I like it again.  You can see some other ways I styled the leopard cardigan here and here.

I bought this plaid skirt at Banana Republic a while back, and I still wear it every winter.  Of course, the denim shirt is a staple in my wardrobe that you have seen many times before.  The brown cardigan is another fave!  And of course, the booties I bought in the fall- still in love with them!  You can see them styled differently here, here, and here.  But they have made an appearance many more times than that!

I went to Goodwill last week, and one of the things I purchased was this faux fur line Gap denim jacket for $4.  Isn’t this #Cheers T-shirt cute for Christmas?  It’s currently on sale for $8!  I just realized I wore the same black jeans twice this week, gasp!
