I don’t do a lot of decorating for Valentines Day, do you? My décor consists of the wreath on my front door, a DIY yarn heart that I made last year, and the message on a mirror that I showed you a couple of days ago. Even know I don’t have a lot of décor up for Valentines day, that does not stop me from enjoying all of the cute Valentines Day projects that I see on other websites and blogs. I really enjoy browsing around at all of the fun projects that are out there.
I was recently browsing around on the Minted Website for some new artwork to add to a gallery wall that I am working on, and I saw a link that said “blog”, so I clicked on it. Did you know that Minted has a blog called julep? I did not know this, but I am so glad I discovered it, and I wanted to share some of the cute Valentines Day projects they have on their blog.
My favorite project is so simple, and I fell in love with it immediately! Isn’t it sweet?

I just love the idea of making one of these oversized messages for the kids to wake up to on Valentines Day. I usually do something small for them, and I could easily recreate this using things that I already have. And free always sounds good to me!
And how hot are disco balls right now? I am liking the disco ball trend, so my heart skipped a beat when I saw this!

Of course, I don’t see LC making one of these for me in my future! And I could make one for him, but somehow I don’t think it would make his heart go all a flutter like mine did! What do you think? Oh well, a girl can dream…
Those are just two of my favorites from julep, but if you have never discovered this blog, you should go check it out. There are lots of fun little goodies just waiting to be discovered!
And before I leave you for today, if you have never checked out the wall art that they have available, here is the link so you can see the awesome artwork they sell. Minted’s Wall Art
I think I spent two hours last night looking at everything they have to offer, and you can even order the prints both with and without framing. I haven’t decided which art I am going to purchase yet, but I am definitely narrowing it down. I have favorited several things ( I don’t think favorited is a word). Here is just a sampling of a few of my favorites.
LC loves San Francisco and his brother lived there for many years, so I think he would really enjoy this print.

I love this print of the top of St. Paul’s cathedral. Especially since I have been inside myself. This would be a fantastic reminder for me of one of my favorite cities that I have visited.

And I love this family tree ring print. The names of the children are illustrated within the ring. How cute is that?

I don’t know how I am going to decide, but I will be sure to share with you when I have my art and hang it on the wall. Do you have a favorite of the ones I showed you today? I would love your opinions! I think any of these three prints would fit in nicely within the gallery wall that I am planning, so go ahead, tell me which one your prefer!
Have a great weekend, and may you be blessed with good weather! I don’t know about you, but I am completely over winter.Link Parties:
