What I Wore Wednesday- 5/14/14

Welcome to my Weekly WIWW post! Every week, for several months now, I have been taking pictures of my outfits and joining the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways.

The countdown has begun folks! My daughter graduates from high school on Saturday and I am officially a mess. She sang at her baccalaureate yesterday evening, and she was amazing! I posted a video on my Facebook page, and if you would like to listen you can! The video is poor quality, but you can hear her voice perfectly. So, getting on with my outfits for this week – this is what I wore to the Baccalaureate. I have been wanting a pleated red skirt like this for a couple of years, but didn’t want to pay the prices I would find. I found this at Gabriel Brothers the other day for $12.99. Needless to say, it was mine.

This was a day at work.

The new sandals are from Urban Outfitters a month or so ago. I will be wearing these a lot this summer. BTW, the toes don’t look painted in this picture, but they are painted a blush nude. Ha! I recently painted them mint green for fun.

Wore this chambray shirt over the tank while at work. I have worn this shirt more than any other item in my closet over the past two years. I paid a fairly good penny for it, but so worth it! You can get one from Urban Outfitters, similar here

And this is the sweater I wore with it at work. I always have on long sleeves at work. It is always freezing!

Miss 18 Year Old and Our Swedish Daughter went to Pittsburgh to see Lady Gaga last week, and this is what the little monster’s wore. They had a blast!

And this was my casual Friday outfit last week.

Have I ever shown you the bracelet LC bought me for Valentine’s Day? I love it!

Now, for some pictures of Miss 18 Year Old’s Baccalaureate. Wanna see what the seniors were wearing last night?

These two are special friends. It is so sad that they are not going to see each other again in a couple of weeks.

Do you recognize this guy? He was her prom date. And look, they match! I love what he is wearing!

Theater buddies. Oh, you have to take notice of Mr. 14 Year old in the badkground in the yellow Polo. Look at his face! He looks like he wants to kill one of them! Lol, I can’t wait to show this to him. Update: After showing this picture to Mr. 14 Year Old, he died laughing. He was photo bombing them,a nd purposefully making that face! Well played, Mr. Man.
