What I Wore Wednesday- July 2, 2014

Hey girl, hey girl! Welcome to my Weekly WIWW post! Every week, for several months now, I have been taking pictures of my outfits and joining the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. So without further ado, here is what I have been wearing for the last week!

The past week was a busy one, with a mini vacation squeezed in to the mix. So let’s get this thing started. I wore this to my annual gynecologist appointment. Probably the yearly appointment that I dread the most. Are you feeling me ladies? I bought this skirt at Gap. They no longer have it but you can find one similar here. The T shirt is old.

I got the inspiration for this outfit from this Pin. Not exactly the same, but you can see where I got this inspiration. Whenever I am feeling uninspired in choosing outfits, I always turn to Pinterest. It is a girl’s best friend!

This was a swim lesson with Mr. 6 Year Old and some errands to run. Once again, the shorts are from Gap. The tank is Miss 18 Year Old’s. She was getting rid of it and I rescued it.

I am trying to master taking outfit selfies at this angle. So far, it’s not going too great! I see other people doing it, but I can’t get it right. I wish I could see a pictures of how they are holding their phone to get this angle!

This was another appointment- a mammogram! Such fun! I am not showing my face in this one because I got up early and just threw something on and went. I got this striped sweater from JCPenney’s. Right now it is on sale for $19.99. You can see how I styled this sweater completely different here. Those cute striped flats were a Target find. They were on clearance for like $9.99.

We picked up Mr. 14 Year Old from 5 days at $H camp on Friday, and this is what I wore. The flowered tank is from Hollister a few years ago, and the polka dot shorts are Tommy Hilfiger. The ones I linked to are not exactly the same, but similar. The navy flats are from Loft a few years ago.

We were in reading Terminal Market In Philadelphia for lunch. This is what I wore to travel to Philadelphia, and then we immediately hit the street for lunch. This dress is from Gap last summer. Unfortunately they have nothing similar right now. My burlap Toms were pretty much all I wore while walking around the city. They are great walking shoes, and they go with everything!

This is LC and I. I bought him this cute neon shirt from American Eagle for Father’s Day. Mr. 14 Year Old has it in pink.

This was another day touring the city. I recently picked up this black peplum top at Marshall’s But it is from American Eagle. I love the sheer sleeves. And the material is dry Weave. You can see the back, but it has a little stripe down the back that has coral thredding.

This is Miss 18 Year Old. Her top is actually a dress that she tucked into some black shorts.

We climbed the stairs that Rocky ran up in the movies.

After we left Philadelphia we went to visit friends in New Jersey. This is what I wore to go to the Ocean City Boardwalk one evening. The top is old. The white shorts are from Loft, and so are the sandals.

And that is my week in outfits! It was a pretty good week. We just got home yesterday evening, so I have a day of unpacking and laundry today.
