Welcome to my Weekly WIWW post! Every week, for several months now, I have been taking pictures of my outfits and joining the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways.
We took a quick trip down to the Virginia Beach area over the weekend to see my niece graduate from high school. We even squeezed in some time at the beach. It was a fast but great weekend. Here is what I have been wearing!
This is the dress I wore to graduation. Actually, I bought it to wear to Miss 18 Year Old’s graduation, but it was too cold, so I thought I would take advantage of this opportunity to wear it. I purchased this dress in Georgetown on clearance for $9.99 at Zara. Quite a steal!
I love the colorful pattern on this dress. I bought the pendant necklace at Anthropologie. And the orange sandals are wedges, although you really can’t tell in the picture.
This is what the kids wore to graduation, and obviously this is my niece, Tyree. LC and Mr. 6 Year Old hit the beach instead. Miss 18 Year Old’s sunflower dress is from American Apparel– Vintage collection.
This is Mr. 6 Year old and me at a little stop we made on the way to take in the beautiful view. My outfit really isn’t worth showing, but the view certainly is!
As I mentioned already, we squeezed in some time at the beach. They had an awesome art show going on, and LC bought me this necklace. It is hand made by an artist named Mary DeMarco, and she has an online shop called La Contessa. I love the jewelry she makes!
Check out the back of the cross. Almost as pretty as the front, and the clasp is two hands! So cute!
And then we were back in WV, taking Miss 18 Year Old and my niece to WVU freshman orientation. This is what I wore. I wish I could remember wear I bought this maxi skirt last summer, but I can’t. The denim jacket I have owned for years,and the ruffle tiered tank was a Goodwill find that still had brand new tags on it from Loft.
