What I Wore Wednesday- October 15, 2014

Hey all! Welcome to my Weekly What I Wore Wednesday post! Every week, I take pictures of my outfits and join the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. I wear the clothes I own forever, but I usually don’t wear any item in the exact same way more than once or twice.

This outfit was my favorite of the week. This is a summer skirt that I paired with a striped shirt, a sweater, and booties for fall.

Last Friday LC and I took the day off and went to Pittsburgh. We shopped, went to see David Gray in concert (he was amazing!), and spent the night. It was a much needed getaway after a stressful few weeks. I wish we could do things like that more often! This is what I wore shopping and to the concert.

This is what I wore shopping in Pittsburgh on Saturday. Miss 18 Year Old and my niece drove up and met me after we spent the night.

You might be surprised to know that I got this skirt from LC’s grandma! Or maybe you aren’t surprised at all? Ha! I liked the floral pattern, and I thought I could try and make it look hip, so this is my attempt. I have to say I got several compliments on it when I wore it, so not a complete fail. I think I may take it and have it shortened to above the knee.
