Welcome back for What I Wore Wednesday! I am linking up to the Pleated Poppy every Wednesday with what I have been wearing during the course of the week. There are lots of lovely ladies doing it too! I love clothes, so I am having fun and being inspired by this fabulous link party ever week! It makes me put a little more thought into what I am wearing. You should try it too!
This is what I wore to church on Sunday. This is one of my favorite summer dresses, and it came from a consignment shop! I like it so much that I chose to wear it again on Monday to work. I just added a denim jacket. Don’t judge me! I only had it on for less than 2 hours on Sunday and I was too lazy to pick out a Monday outfit, so I repeated!
Dress- Max Studio via a consignment shop in Atlanta
Denim jacket- Gap
Leather flip flops- Sperry
This was my casual Friday outfit for work. My co workers teased that I looked like a picnic! Ha! I probably won’t repeat this outfit again!
Plaid shorts- Goodwill
Cream blouse- Loft
Red Cardigan- Old Navy
Flip Flops- JC Penney
I love this grey dress! I wanna grab it every single day! The fit is great and it is super comfy!
Dress- Calvin Klein via Bloomingdales ($14.98)
Red peep toes- Goodwill
White cardigan- The Limited
I wanted you to see my necklace. LC bought it for me a few years ago in Ocean City. I love this puffy little heart!
Can you tell I work at a school by the outfits I wear? Teacher alert, right? I was happy with this outfit. The scarf is new!
Scarf- a little shop in Harper’s Ferry, WV
Long Tank- Calvin Klein via Goodwill
Cardigan- Banana Republic
Khaki capris- Saks Outlet
Sandals- Kenneth Cole Reaction
This is what I wore to work yesterday. And I kept it on for a dinner for my son’s track team that evening.
Sleeveless blouse- The Limited
Cardigan- Gap
Purple denim capri’s- Tommy Hilfiger
Black Sandals- Impo
Well, that wraps up another week! I would love to hear your opinions! In case you are new to my weekly WIWW posts, I am using these to help me week out my wardrobe. Last week, I decided to part with a pair of black linen pants that I realized were too short once I saw them in pictures. I am completely open to a little friendly criticism! As long as you aren’t a meanie! If you would like to check out my previous WIWW posts, you can click here! Happy Hump day!I am linking up here:
you look pretty in all of them Nicki!I adore clothes and actually have a problem on repeating them, but you mix up your clothes really well .
Actually, I wouldn't know you are a teacher just by looking at your outfits. Usually I love what you wear, and I think you have a lot of style. Can you hear the but? No offense, please, but I'm surprised to see you wearing flip flops and shorts to school. Does your dress code really allow that? My daughter isn't allowed to wear those items as a high school student in FL, and I have never seen her teachers wearing them either. I thought FL had to win for, "most casual state," but I guess not so much at our schools.
I just reread what I wrote above and it sounds pretty bitchy. I'm very sorry, that was not my intention. I'm really just curious.
Karen, NO! You didn't sound bitchy at all! Actually, I bet you will be very surprised to hear that I am one of the more dressy of employees in my building! It is a fairly casual atmosphere. And the only time I wear shorts or jeans is on Fridays. We have casual Fridays in my building! Yay! And yes, flip flops are permitted- any day of the week! I do not some schools that do not permit them though. Luckily, we are not one of them!
Love the new header with the juxtaposition of polka dots and the chevron stripe. Great tagline by the chandelier. 🙂 I really liked the seafoam color dress. The Calvin Klein top from Goodwill looks bright and colorful. It looks perfect for summer, very versatile. Jas has great taste in the necklace he got you.
Thanks Rachel! I am glad you like the new blog design. I did it myself, and it took m quite a while!
I love that aqua dress! So flattering and beautiful – but then again all your outfits are. Thanks for linking up!!
Thank you for having the party!
Ha! I am also guilty of doing this – repeating an outfit esp when I wore it for a short time only. It looks great with that denim jacket 🙂

The last dress is probably my fave. You look great! PS- I totally outfit repeat if I only wore something for a few hours, lol!
