What I Wore Wednesday

Welcome to my What I Wore Wednesday post for the week! This is the day of the week when I link up my weekly outfits to The Pleated Poppy. I have been trying to wear some of my winter wardrobe, because I spent so much of this winter bundled up in my cozy pajamas. We had some nice weather over the past week, which made me really antsy for spring, and then boom! Winter was back with a vengeance! Yesterday I drove to work on very dangerous roads, and nearly wrecked twice. So, I am sick of winter, how about you?

Let’s get on with this thing, shall we? Here is what I have been wearing this past week!
This is an oldie but goodie. I bought this dress a few years ago from Banana Republic Outlet, and I still love it to this day.

I decided to wear my black booties instead of tall boots with it. This was a warm spring like day. The weather was just being a tease!

This jewelry is my daughter’s. She wore it for homecoming one year.

I got several compliments on this sweater that I bought at Goodwill in the fall. I like it with the denim shirt and army green cargo pants.

This orange plaid shirt from Old Navy was also a Goodwill find. I usually don’t look too hard at Goodwill clothes. I just kind of breeze through the aisle looking for patterns that catch my eye, and sometimes I get lucky. I have had the cardigan I paired with it for a few years. This was casual Friday.

This was a Saturday afternoon basketball game. Mr. 13 Year Old’s team was playing for the championship, and they won! This is the third year in a row the team he has been on has won, so we were very happy!

These are actually the jeggings I bought at K Mart, and I love them. You can see them styled a different way here. And you can see this white shirt styled another way here.

This is him and I after his team’s big win. He was not thrilled to stand there and take a picture, because no one else was. Oh my! He is a runner, and his 8th grade track season starts next week, so he has a week off between basketball and track.

Last but not least, this was a work day, and I also wore this to an evening meeting that I had. This outfit was inspired by this pin.

I like the little splash of leopard in this outfit.
