This post should have been out yesterday morning, but it was a crazy busy weekend. Friday was my birthday, did I tell you that? We celebrated by going to dinner with a friend and her husband (thanks Steph!), and then we celebrated again with my parents and the kids on Sunday evening. We spent Saturday at a cross country meet, and Mr. 15 Year Old’s team won. They are currently ranked #1 in the state, and my son is currently ranked 46. He finished last week’s race in 34th place with a time of 17:57, which was his personal record. So fun to watch their success!
Let’s move on and talk about what I’m loving right now, here they are! I have read about these leggings on more than one blog, and I finally bought a pair of these Hue Women’s Ultra leggings with wide waistband. And they do not disappoint. I love the wide waistband. It eliminates any chance of muffin top or spillage. The fit and fabric are very good quality, and I will be wearing these things all winter long!
I’m getting ready to change my closet over for Fall soon, and I have slowly but surely been transitioning my closet to these hangers, a little at a time. I love them! They are slim, and things do not fall off of them no matter what material. I think I need about 120 more until my closet it completely transformed.
I couldn’t put this book down. It is the memoir about Jaycee Dugard, who was kidnapped in 1991and held captive for more than 18 years. Warning: this book is disturbing. I had nightmares for two nights after I finished it. I am a counselor, so I like to read these types of books because I find human behavior interesting, and also the human ability to survive something like this is amazing.
LC bought me this candle for my birthday last week, and I love the smell! Puts me in the mood for fall!
And last but not least, I love this Free Fall printable that Beth on Home Stories A to Z created! I actually ordered an engineering print to hang in my own house, and I can pick it up tomorrow. It was $3 you guys! I’ll let you know how it turns out, I am sure it will be a part of my Fall Home tour that I hope to blog about soon.
