What I’m Loving Today #3

We had a very busy weekend moving my daughter into her new apartment with all new roommates to start her sophomore year of college. She is living with three boys this year! That can be both good and bad. The boys seem like nice kids. One of them is from Africa, one from Bermuda, and one American. The American boy went to culinary school, so hopefully between he and Delaney they will have some great family dinners- she loves to cook too! I’m sure the other two will much appreciate it. I think girls can sometimes get along better with boys, and I’m not against her living with boys. Hopefully they will be good to her and protect her. Trust me, they were all warned! Ha! Now that I have told you a little about what’s going on in my life right now, let’s talk about some things that I am loving today! Sound fun?

Let’s start with this soup. We love Panera, and we go there a lot. We went there yesterday after spending the day moving Delaney in, and I had this delicious Lemon Chicken Orzo soup. Serious yumminess going on in this bowl. This recipe looks very similar.

This is what I ‘m reading right now. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest. This is book three of the series by Stieg Larsson, and I loved the first two. This one so far does not disappoint.

I just bought this tank extender. I haven’t worn it yet, but I imagine that it is going to get a lot of use when I start wearing legging more often. It will look good under so. many. things.

Speaking of clothes, this skirt! Red is my favorite color, and I want it sooo bad, but I can’t afford it at $148. So I am watching hoping it will go on sale. Actually I just checked again, and I could get 25% off of it right now, but that still doesn’t bring it down to where I can feel good paying for it. J Crew is too expensive! But I love their clothes! I recently ran out of lotion, and decided to try something new. And I really like it! It is very moisturizing and has a great smell. It will be great for my dry skin this winter. It is so creamy and luxurious that I don’t have to use as much of it as I usually do.

These closet doublers are a life saver for Delaney’s closet at college. It literally doubles her hanging space. I bought two sets for her last summer, and we are using them again in her new apartment.

Our desk pad was shot, it was three years old, and had seen better days, so I recently ordered this one. Nothing like getting our desk freshened up for the start of a new year!

I have never shared this with you guys before, but this Tropical Trail mix is my very favorite snack, and I can’t live without it! I buy at least two bags every time I go to Walmart. The nuts, the dried fruit, the salty and sweet makes the perfect combination.
