What I’m Loving Today {Vol. 1}

I have really been trying to enjoy my summer, spend more time with family and friends, and stay away from my computer and my projects more this summer.  But when you are a blogger, particularly one who is trying to grow her blog and put out amazing content, it is sometimes difficult to step away from the computer.  So in light of that, I have decided to start a new series here at Sweet Parrish Place called What I am Loving Today.  I will be bringing this to you twice per month, every other Monday.  It’s going to be kind of random, and just showing you what I am currently loving.  This is going to be a no boundaries type of post- it may have a little fashion, a little DIY, a little home décor, a little beauty, things I find interesting or awesome, just whatever I am in the mood to show you!  Sound fun?  I hope you enjoy this new series, please tell me your thoughts about it in the comment section below, I would love your input!  Meanwhile, behind the scenes, I am starting today on a rustic wood accent wall in our upstairs hallway- I can’t wait to share the finished product with you, wish me luck!

Without further adieu, here are some things I am loving right now.

Have you heard of this store I recently discovered called Altar’d State?  We don’t’ have one where I live, but there is one in Charleston, which is about 2 hours away.  I have had the opportunity to be there three times recently, and I can’t get enough of this store.  First of all, it smells amazing when you walk in.  They have clothing, shoes, jewelry and home décor.  The store is beautifully designed, the dressing rooms are adorable, everything is hanging in color themes, which appeals to my eye.  I bought the cutest fringe purse there recently, and then this past week I bought an adorable dress.  You can see both the dress, and a couple pictures of the adorable dressing room in this post.    Here are just a couple of things I am loving in this store right now.
