Winter Daily Outfits | Sweet Parrish Place Style

March 5, 2019 By Nicki 9 Comments

Today’s Sweet Parrish Place Style is a collection of my winter daily outfits, in my life as a school counselor, and some weekend wear that I share on Instagram.  Winter Daily Outfits collage

Hey friends!  It’s been awhile since I’ve shared a Sweet Parrish Place Style post, so these are some of my winter daily outfits. I do share my daily outfits several times per week over on Instagram.  I haven’t actually done a photo shoot for any fashion posts all winter, because I just hate to fight the weather to get out there and do it.

I thought I would pop in before winter is completely over and share some of my daily outfits with you that I share over on Instagram.  I hope to start getting out more to do some fashion photo shoots and have some fresh spring fashion content to share with you soon.  For those of you who don’t know this, I work in a middle school, so most of these are outfits I wear to work, with a few casual weekend things mixed in.  I have linked to exact items when possible, and when not possible, I have linked to similar items that I love.

I am wearing the exact same plaid shirt dress in the above and below photos.  So you can see two different ways that I have styled it.  Above, I am wearing it open as a duster, and below I am wearing it buttoned up with a flowy sweater over top of it.

Sadly, this is the outfit, I wore to the funeral of my ex husband in December.  The shirt dress and the sweater are both from Old Navy.  The dress is lightweight enough that I can also wear it in Spring and Fall as well.  And the marled open front cardigan is something that I find myself reaching for again and gain.  The only thing I don’t like about it is that it doesn’t have pockets.

This gray sweater is my favorite purchase of the winter, and unfortunately it is sold out.  I bought it at Aerie.  I tis so cozy and comfy.  And these are my signature red skinny jeans.  I have had a pair of red pants in my wardrobe for as long as I can remember.  And I always feel fabulous when I’m wearing them.

This chunky neutral sweater is so easy to throw on with jeans or leggings and mix and match in various ways.  I like that this one is long enough to cover the butt.

I got this cozy sweatshirt from Fabletics this winter, and I love the blush color.  It’s a nice long length to wear with leggings, and I love the thumb holes.  If you have never tried Fabletics, their quality is top notch and their prices are affordable.

If you would like to give Fabletics a try, you can click to become a member!  You will be automatically charge each month and can pick one $49 outfit to have shipped to you.  You can opt out any month you would like to, and all you have to do is visit the website and click to opt our for the month.  I always mark my calendar so that I can decide whether I want to opt out or not, that I am not charged when I don’t want to be.  Fabletics has the best workout pants that I own.  I love the fit and the fabric.  I sometimes have an issue with my workout pants starting to sag at the crotch, and this does not happen with my Fabletics workout pants.

A denim skirt is another item that I have had in my wardrobe over the years, in some shape or form.  This particular one buttons up the front.  And I found this tweed sweater at a thrift store.  It is an excellent quality top too.  I also love the fringe detail on this scarf I picked up at Zara a few years ago.

A couple of years ago, I got rid of a long cable knit cream sweater vest from Abercrombie that I had for years.  And it is one item that I do regret purging out of my closet.  So I replaced it with this one.  It is a longer length but a similar color.  And it has a belt, although I don’t have it tied here.  I love having something like this as a layering piece during cold weather months.

This black puffer coat is a great winter coat that I have had for two winters now.  This particular one is a Liz Claiborne, and I love it.  It is very warm.

This entire outfit, both the jeans and the waffle knit knotted top are from Sam’s Club.  I actually attended a girls dinner with friends recently, and the theme was Sam’s Club.  All of the food and everything we wore was from Sam’s.  It was so fun to see what each person came up with!  And I am proud to say that I actually love the top and the jeans!

This next outfit is so cozy and comfy.  I think you can’t go wrong with a blanket scarf like this, and I love the long olive cardigan I got at Old Navy in the fall.

This is another dress and cardigan combo from Old Navy.  They always have a good and affordable selection.

This is the second leopard print cardigan that I have bought, because I lost the first one, and I love a bit of animal print in my wardrobe.  I consider animal print as a neutral when I am putting together an outfit, or in home decor, for that matter.

I love these cute red flats, they were a gift from my husband for Christmas.  They are perfect for my job as a school counselor.  And this black cardigan is a closet staple.

This cute cowl neck top is one of the items in my most recent stitch Fix box.  It was the only item I decided to keep out of that box because summer is coming and I just didn’t want to invest in anything else for winter.  But I do love this top!

If you would like to give Stitch Fix a try, you can get a $25 credit by clicking my link, and I will get a $25 credit as well for each person I refer!
