Back in May I planted some container garden’s for my back deck and the front of my house. But what I failed to mention was that I used Moisture Control Potting Mix when I planted them! I thought this would be a wonderful opportunity to show you how they are doing as of today. They are thriving! I am a big fan of Miracle-Gro, and I always use it when I plant things, both indoors and out. I have been using it for as long as I have been planting things. I love having plants around my house. To me, a house just feels more alive when you have live plants.

These container garden’s have taken off, thanks to Moisture Control Potting Mix. I could not be happier! You can see where the foliage is filling in and starting to spill over the pots, just as planned.
More recently, I decided that a few of my house plants were in need of a transplant. They were outgrowing their containers. And I also recently purchased a succulent plant that needed to be potted, so I got to work, again using Moisture Control Potting Mix. Here are some photos of the results.
I have plans to spice up this glass planter, stay tuned!

When I bought this cactus, it was pretty tiny.

This is the newest addition, my little succulent. Wish us luck!

I always feed my plants, both indoor and outdoor, with Shake’n Feed All Purpose Plant Food. I have been using it for years, and it always helps my plants to thrive! If you have never used either of these, you should definitely give them a try. You will be happy with the results!
Have you heard about The Gro Project? If not, you should check it out! They have several really cute and fun projects you can do yourself! My favorite is the toyrarium. since my son recently lost his pet fish (sniff sniff), we have an empty fish bowl lying around, so this is a perfect project to do with my little one while we are on summer break! I am sure I will be sharing it when we get it finished! Below is a video about The Gro Project for your viewing pleasure:
Miracle grow also has a cool pinterest page with so many fun garden projects! I am following them, and you should too! I hope it inspires you to go out and plant something. Plants and flowers are so beautiful, and such a good way to make your home so much more welcoming!

I swear by miracle grow potting soils/mixes. A couple years ago I had a few more plants to plant and was in a hurry to get them planted before they died so I bought some cheap potting soil from a small hardware store on my way home one night, and when I got home and opened it, it was dirt mixed with sand!!!! Poor excuse for "potting soil". So lesson learned. Stick with miracle grow!!!! 🙂
I totally agree with you Jennifer! That is why I jumped at the chance to do a sponsored post for them!
