Welcome to my Weekly WIWW post! Every week, for several months now, I have been taking pictures of my outfits and joining the WIWW link party with The Pleated Poppy. These posts are something that I really enjoy, because I have always had a passion for fashion. I love putting together new outfits, and shopping my own closet to wear things in different ways. This past week was my last week of work until August, and I spent it working in the permanent records room, so I was not wearing much of anything blog worthy. I only have a couple of things to show you, but here it is anyway! Hopefully I can get myself together and have more next week!
I think this was the last day I actually put an outfit together for work. Orange pants are from Urban Outfitters. They no longer sell them but here is a similar pair from JCPenney, and they just happen to be on clearance for $14.99! Here is another similar pair at JCrew Factory. The navy ruffle tank is from Loft a few years ago, and I still love it! Tiered ruffles hide everything! Cardigan is borrowed from my daughter.
And since, then, I have kind of been dressing like this. And this is actually the only outfit I would have even taken a picture of to be honest. It is dirty working on the records room. And no one sees me. I do like my new black seamless yoga capris from Target. I will wear these things out! I like the gathered detail at the knee.
I bought this T-shirt at Gap a few years ago, I like the high heels!
And this is a blurry picture of Miss 18 Year Old singing at her senior showcase last week. I loved the dress she was wearing, so I wanted to show it to you. she recently bought this at Forever 21 in NYC.
Since I don’t have many outfits for this week, I thought I would share a little obsession I have right now. Back in the 90’s these were big and I remember owning several pairs. I loved them, and I am so thrilled to see them making a comeback! Wide legged pants! Or what we called them in the 90’s was palazzo pants. Who remembers them fondly? I swear, I could never have enough pairs of these pants! Here are a few pairs that I have been coveting.
I created a Pants Pinterest Board with some other pants that I am digging right now, and I will be adding to it when I find other’s. What do you think of this trend coming back? They are so comfortable and forgiving. And I think they look great on both shorter and taller people. They are kind of like a maxi skirt in that regard. Have you bought a pair of Palazzo pants yet? I recently bought a pair.
Thank for joining me today for my WIWW post. We are leaving for a short trip tomorrow and won’t be back until Sunday night. So I won’t be back with a new post until next week. Have a great hump day, and see you next week!Link Parties:
