I’m Loving It! Pantone Spring Color Pale Dogwood

April 14, 2017 By Nicki 13 Comments

Hey friends!  This post is all about Spring Color Inspiration today, in particular the Pantone spring color pale dogwood. If you have been reading my little blog for a hot minute, you may have caught on to the fact that I am loving all things blush right now.  And I do not think I am the only person who is swooning for this color, as a matter of fact, I know I’m not!

As a matter of fact, Pantone has chosen the color pale dogwood as one of their top 10 colors for Spring 2017.  If you are loving this color and also looking for some ideas for how to incorporate it into your home or your wardrobe, I have plenty of ideas for you today!

Ways to incorporate Pantone spring color pale dogwood into your home and your wardrobe

The Pantone spring color pale dogwood is a quiet and peaceful shade of pink, it is subtle, and it has a brown undertone.  It’s softer than regular pink, less saturated, and more calm.  And I am just in love with it!  Here are a few inspirational photos of the color in all its glory.

In many ways, this color can almost be used as a neutral.  I have been adding touches of this color lately, and actually it all started a few years ago when I picked up a Van Gogh print from a thrift store that had pale dogwood accents.  It started there, but in the past year or so, my love has grown to the point that I find myself more and more drawn to it.

Adding in a touch of this color in curtains or draperies is a really cool way to incorporate the color into a room.

A couple of my blog friends are sharing their own spin on some other Pantone colors for Spring 2017, Sherry from Savvy Apron is sharing about the color pink yarrow, and Lynn from Nourish and Nestle is sharing about the color greenery.  Both of them have some great ideas as well, so take a few minutes and check out their posts today.  Hope you enjoyed this little post full of pale dogwood today, I had fun searching for all things pale dogwood.  I even created a Pinterest board  titled Pantone Color 2017- Pale Dogwood with lots more inspiration if you want to hop over and give it a follow!
